Job Description

As a Domestic Cleaner, you will be providing cleaning services and domestic assistance support to our elderly clients living in their own private homes in the community. This role is ideal for those who are passionate about enabling seniors to live safely and independently while improving their quality of life.

This position offers a good introduction into aged care in the community and can serve as a stepping stone into a Community Support Worker role if you decide to progress your career in this field.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with our elderly clients living in the Glendalough, Osborne Park, and North Perth suburbs. A reliable vehicle and current valid driver's licence to drive in Western Australia are essential requirements for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing cleaning services and domestic assistance support to our elderly clients
  • Assisting clients with daily tasks and errands
  • Maintaining a clean and safe environment for clients
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Working knowledge of hygienic cleaning practices and chemicals
  • A good level of fitness and the ability to undertake general domestic and housekeeping tasks safely
  • Dedicated work ethic and a strong commitment to providing safe and high-quality support services
  • Ability to effectively communicate professionally and compassionately with diverse people in various environments
