Job Overview

As a Home Care Support Worker, you will play a vital role in assisting elderly individuals to maintain their independence and quality of life in the comfort of their own homes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with daily living activities such as cleaning, personal care, meal preparation, shopping, and social support.
  • Liaise regularly with care coordinators to provide updates on client care needs.
  • Carefully follow client care plans and log activities via smartphone.
  • Develop trust and maintain a positive rapport with clients and their families.

Requirements:
  • Be comfortable working independently and enjoy building relationships with people.
  • Hold a certificate in Aged Care or Individual Support or Community Services, or equivalent.
  • Have manual handling and/or medication administration certificates.
  • Hold a National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) Worker Screening Check.
  • Have a current first aid certificate, national police clearance, and immunisation record (flu).
  • Have a valid driver's licence and be confident driving.
