Job Title

Seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to provide comprehensive nursing care and services in the Operating Theatres, Recovery, Anaesthetic areas, Day of Surgery Admissions (DOSA) and Holding Bay at a major acute care teaching hospital.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct nursing care and services to patients undergoing surgical and diagnostic operative procedures
  • Assess individual patient needs and plan, implement or coordinate appropriate service delivery from a range of accepted options
  • Develop and maintain cooperative and productive working relationships with all members of the healthcare team

Requirements:

  • Registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse by the Nursing Board of Australia
  • Current practicing certificate
  • Effective communication skills including problem solving, conflict resolution and negotiation skills
