Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Peri-operative Coordinator to join our team. This role offers an exciting opportunity for clinical leadership and support, working in a values-based organisation dedicated to providing patient-centred care.

The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating surgical resources, including operating rooms, equipment, and staff, to maximise efficiency and minimise downtime. They will also monitor and manage inventory of surgical supplies and equipment, ensuring availability for scheduled procedures.

About the Role

This is a challenging yet rewarding role that requires self-motivated, enthusiastic individuals who are prepared to lead a team. The ideal candidate will have strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with surgeons, anaesthesiologists, and other stakeholders.

  • Coordinate allocation of surgical resources to maximise efficiency and minimise downtime
  • Monitor and manage inventory of surgical supplies and equipment
  • Day-to-day staffing and allocations to meet unit requirements
