About the Role

The Sporting Globe is seeking an experienced Restaurant and Bar Operations Manager to join our team. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for the overall management of our restaurant and bar operations, ensuring exceptional customer service and a seamless dining experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operations Management: Assist in efficiently and effectively controlling all operations across the venue, including running the restaurant and bar.
  • Leadership: Support the Venue and Assistant Venue Manager by opening and closing the venue, and lead by example as a senior restaurant leader.
  • Food and Beverage Management: Overall management of the FOH operational facets of the business, including adherence to and auditing of OH&S and Food Hygiene procedures.
  • Sales and Revenue: Identify opportunities to build sales and revenue while controlling costs, and drive a positive working environment.
  • Customer Service: Ensure superior service and quality to deliver outstanding guest experiences.
  • Marketing and Promotions: Maintain current market knowledge and harness your ability to engage and execute promotional/marketing concepts to assist in business growth.
Requirements
  • Experience: A minimum of 2 years' experience in hospitality management, with experience working in both bar and restaurant environments.
  • Leadership Skills: Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with a passion for the industry and a strong sales culture.
  • Financial Acumen: Experience in the financial aspects of a business, including budgeting and cost control.
  • Certifications: RSA certificate.
