Job Overview
This role involves providing high-quality clinical care to residents in a Residential Aged Care setting. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for ensuring that clinical standards are met and that residents receive exceptional care.
About the Role:- Ensure quality clinical care is provided at all times, adhering to the Aged Care Quality Standards and organizational policies and procedures.
- Provide leadership and coaching to the clinical and support teams to ensure effective delivery of resident outcomes.
- Work in a safe manner, adhering to all policies and procedures, including IPC, to maintain compliance with quality standards.
- Assume the role of second-in-charge to the Residential Manager.
To succeed in this position, you will require:
- A genuine passion for delivering high-quality care to the elderly.
- Current registration as an RN with AHPRA.
- A thorough understanding of aged care legislation and quality standards.
- Demonstrated knowledge of AN-ACC assessment processes.
- Comprehensive clinical knowledge, particularly in relation to age-related health issues.
- Experience working within a Residential Aged Care setting in a similar role.
- Strong coaching and training skills, with the ability to influence others.
- A customer-centric approach to business.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Willingness to undergo a Police Check and NDIS clearance.
