Theatre Transfer Specialist

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Theatre Transfer Specialist to join our healthcare team. This position encompasses working within a collaborative environment to provide safe transfer of patients to and from the operating theatre, demonstrating a commitment to quality patient care and providing support to the perioperative staff.

Your Key Responsibilities:
  • Safe transfer of patients to and from the operating theatre using effective handling techniques
  • Provide assistance in maintaining a safe patient environment including setting up theatres during procedures
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in a theatre orderly or similar role within the health care industry
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively within a team environment and independently
  • Flexibility to work a range of shifts across a 6-day rotating roster
  • A strong willingness to learn and develop a working knowledge of hospital procedures
  • Motivated and positive with a high level of attention to detail
Further Requirements:
  • Manual handling and infection control procedures knowledge
  • Unrestricted NSW drivers' licence
