Theatre Orderly Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled Theatre Orderly to join our team on a full-time basis. As a key member of the preoperative team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe transfer of patients to and from the operating theatre.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Safe patient handling and positioning
  • Setting up of theatre areas
  • Maintaining a safe patient environment during procedures
  • Providing support to nursing staff
Requirements:
  • Previous experience as a Theatre Orderly within the healthcare industry (desirable)
  • Working with Children check
  • Police Check
  • Commitment to quality patient care
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Flexibility to work a rotating roster
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
