Theatre Support Role

You will be working in a vital support position within surgical teams, contributing to delivering high-quality patient care.

Your key responsibilities include:

  • Supporting Surgical Teams - Collaborate with surgeons, anaesthetists, and nurses to prepare operating rooms for procedures.
  • Maintaining Sterility - Ensure the theatre environment, equipment, and instruments remain sterile to minimize infection risks.
  • Cleaning and Disinfecting - Clean the theatre after surgeries and prepare it for the next procedure, including handling clinical waste.
  • Inventory Management - Monitor and restock supplies to ensure efficient operations.
  • Assisting Patient Positioning and Transfer - Safely transport and position patients on the operating table, ensuring comfort and preventing injuries.

You will require excellent communication skills and a willingness to develop knowledge of hospital procedures. A motivated individual with attention to detail is essential, as well as flexibility to work rotating shifts.

This role requires excellent interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively within a team environment and independently when needed. You will also need to demonstrate an excellent patient and customer service focus.
