About the Role:
We are looking for a seasoned professional with a strong background in security and risk management to join our team. As a key member of our asset team, you will be responsible for directing the living destination's risk and security management functions, ensuring the optimal level of security and safety for our team, business partners, and customers.
Main Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement comprehensive risk management strategies aligned with Scentre Group's Safety Framework.
- Manage hazard identification, incidents, emergencies, near misses, and claims, providing timely reports and responses.
- Oversee safety audits and inspection programs, ensuring compliance with all security and health & safety policies, procedures, and practices.
- Build strong relationships with external stakeholders, including local Police, WHS Regulators, Fire Brigade, and Ambulance Services, to develop operational and emergency protocols.
- Duty manage weekends (on a roster) and balance shifts with days off in lieu.
Your Background:
You'll bring excellent risk management experience, a strong background in security, and a passion for retail property. Key skills include:
- A qualification or related experience in Work Health and Safety.
- A strong background in leading risk management and security.
- Technical knowledge of CCTV and Access Control systems, and visitor and contractor management systems.

What We Offer:
In this role, you can expect a competitive salary around $120,000 - $150,000 per annum, depending on your experience and qualifications.
