We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Workforce Strategy Lead to join our Workforce Strategy & Transformation Team. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in helping us become trusted advisors and delivery partners to our business, through a strategy-led, data-informed, and people-enabled approach to workforce strategy and transformation.
As the Workforce Strategy Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing the technical discipline of workforce strategy, ensuring its effective application and quality, and supporting the Head of Workforce Strategy & Analytics in prioritizing resourcing allocation and decision-making as it relates to workforce strategy and strategic workforce planning outcomes across divisions and the enterprise.
Key Responsibilities- Support the development of the organizational playbook for workforce strategy development;
- Scope and act as an SME and provide oversight for select major programs and projects across the capability as required;
- Work with WS&T Portfolio owners to problem-solve workforce strategy development approaches that ensure the delivery of projects and manage the methodology issues of in-flight projects;
- Monitor adherence to standards within the area of expertise and ensure alignment with Workforce Strategy Execution, Programmatic Analytics, Reporting Delivery, and other WS&T Strategic Capabilities;
- Ensure a business readiness assessment is applied for new workforce strategy development projects before committing support, including ensuring business problems have been validly identified;
- Monitor and drive capability development towards the vision for the expertise of the capability;
- Continuously develop expertise and stay up-to-date with emerging trends, practices, and information in the area of expertise and more broadly;
- Support the Head of Workforce Strategy & Analytics in working with WS&T Portfolio Owners, other W&ST LT, and wider T&C to understand and plan for workforce capability needs, current and future;
- Owning and managing the service proposition for Workforce Strategy (including Workforce Strategy Delivery);
- Supporting management of the total capability pool available to deliver projects, including leveraging individuals in Workforce Strategy & Analytics, wider WS&T, and external 3rd parties;
- Responsible for the personal development, performance reviews, and capability uplift of direct reports;
- Coaching and development planning on expertise and personal development by promoting an 'always learning' culture;
- Share insights and knowledge of own expertise with Project Leads/members and organization;
- Supporting the Head of Workforce Strategy & Analytics with input into WS&T governance, including WS&T prioritization, resource allocation, and decision-making as it relates to Workforce Strategy;
To succeed in this role, you will ideally bring the following:
- Deep and extensive expertise in your specialist discipline and a proven ability to innovate and stay up-to-date;
- Ability to actively connect outside and inside ANZ to leverage latest thinking, providing practical/relevant ideas, improvements, and fit-for-purpose solutions;

- Effective communication skills (verbal and written) and ability to interact with a range of stakeholders at all levels;
