Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze market value fluctuations and provide insights on P&L outcomes. Collaborate with Marketing & Trading, Treasury, and Procurement to evaluate commodity and foreign exchange valuations.
- Develop independent market curves and valuation methodologies for trading products.
- Ensure accurate Mark to Market P&L reporting and establish controls for trading positions.
- Lead technology initiatives in the Middle Office to improve risk management capabilities.
- Identify and mitigate emerging risks across products and markets.
- Work with internal teams to effectively resolve discrepancies.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in finance, mathematics, or a related field
- 5+ years in Middle Office, Product Control, Valuation, or Market Risk roles.
- Strong understanding of valuations for exchange and OTC financial instruments.
- Proficient in Treasury and Trading Risk Management systems.
- Strong data analysis skills; experience with Excel, VBA, BI tools, SQL, and Python valued.
