About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Development Engineer to join our team at Ivory Group. As a Development Engineer, you will be responsible for providing technical expertise in civil infrastructure design and construction standards, as well as providing a working knowledge of land use planning policy and guidelines.

Key Responsibilities

  • Engineering assessment of Development Applications
  • Identify, resolve and ensure standard and specific conditions address technical issues
  • Assist in appeals in the Land and Environment Court
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders, including developers

Requirements

  • Degree in Civil Engineering or relevant qualifications
  • Prior experience as a Development Engineer in Local Government is highly desirable
  • Proven knowledge of Local Government Act, Roads Act & Environmental Planning Act
  • Proficient in software including AutoCAD, Drains, HEC-RAS and MUSIC
