About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Civil Infrastructure Specialist to join our Design Engineering team in Sydney. This exciting 8-month contract offers a chance to strengthen our in-house civil design capabilities for Data Center Mega Campus projects across Asia Pacific.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide full life-cycle support to AWS Data Centers from site due diligence through to construction completion.
  • Collaborate with internal and external multidisciplinary teams to ensure designs are integrated and aligned with project goals.
  • Lead early work civil design packages for mega-campus Data Centre projects across Asia Pacific.
  • Analyze external consultant civil designs, reports, planning documents and provide comprehensive support to AWS Data Centers from site due diligence and design development to construction completion.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent experience.
  • 8+ years professional experience in land development, commercial, warehouse, and/or industrial site-civil design and remediation with working knowledge of civil engineering conventional practices.
  • Solid knowledge and experience in civil design software such as Civil 3D or equivalent.
