Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented professional to join our team as a Program Officer, Training Accreditation Services.

This is an exciting opportunity to work in the field of education administration programs, providing operational and administrative support to deliver the accreditation program. You will have the chance to collaborate with committees, coordinate administrative functions, and develop resources and training to support internal and external stakeholders.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing guidance on accreditation processes and ensuring adherence to accreditation standards
  • Collaborating with committees to facilitate effective governance, including succession planning and performance optimization
  • Coordinating administrative functions for the accreditation of training settings, including compiling reports, distributing documentation, and organizing site visits
  • Delivering training, advice, and support to a range of stakeholders, including training providers, trainees, supervisors, and directors of pediatric/physician education
  • Maintaining accurate and transparent communications to ensure stakeholders have access to reliable information
  • Contributing to projects, policy development, and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance accreditation operations
  • Providing robust administrative and secretariat support to committees and working groups involved in accreditation processes
About the Role

This position is ideal for someone who has a strong organizational and multitasking background, excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to build effective working relationships with a range of external and internal stakeholders.

The successful candidate will have:

  • Business and/or administration qualifications or demonstrated equivalent experience, knowledge, and skills
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills with demonstrated attention to detail and ability to achieve work objectives in a timely manner
  • Demonstrated experience in delivering professional client and secretariat services, including high-level written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to build effective working relationships with a range of external and internal stakeholders
  • Experience improving and monitoring administrative processes
  • Ability to negotiate and influence
  • Ability to be flexible and adapt to changing priorities
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate within a professional team
  • Proven experience in problem-solving and analytical skills
  • IT capabilities: Microsoft Office Suite, SharePoint, and video/teleconferencing platforms
