Your Future Role

The SAP Key User will play a critical role in leading the definition of standards, processes, and instructions for cross-functional processes. This position will be based at our Rollingstock Manufacturing Site in Dandenong and will be a 12-month fixed-term position.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze the IT landscape and contribute to the development of the IT strategic roadmap to deliver target processes.
  • Provide standard methods and IS&T tools to support overall Supply Chain process.
  • Lead the definition of new IS&T tools or the improvement of actual methods and tools based on business requirements and budget constraints.
  • Drive the deployment of new core tools and ensure they are applied in a proper and efficient manner.
  • Validate alignment between new processes and available tools.
  • Provide sustainable support to sites, including technical trainings and key user skills development.
  • Animate Key User networks.
  • Plan and conduct regular reports and reviews to monitor adherence and report performance (Key Performance Indicators) of processes and tools.
  • Coordinate troubleshooting and resolution of systems and interface issues in cooperation with the IS&T team.
  • Support mobilizations requests from Regions/Sites or other Alstom departments on the assigned domain.
  • Conduct Supply Chain continuous technology watch with key contribution to Digital operations definition within and between Alstom sites.

Requirements

  • Tertiary qualification in Business Administration, Engineering, or Supply Chain.
  • Supply Chain certification is desirable.
  • Experience with ERPs (SAP is preferred), Supply Chain concepts, processes, and continuous improvement.
  • Rolling Stock background experience is highly desirable.
