Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Fleet Operations Manager to oversee the planning and scheduling of our fleet operations. This is a key role in ensuring timely deliveries to customers and maintaining efficient operations.

Main Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement effective fleet schedules to meet customer needs.
  • Monitor and control daily operations, including vehicle maintenance and driver activities.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
  • Manage driver rosters and monitor performance to meet company standards.
  • Conduct regular toolbox meetings with drivers to promote safety and quality awareness.
  • Reconcile subcontractor payments and prepare run sheets, manifests, and consignments.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Proven experience in fleet management, preferably in the transport industry.
  • Strong knowledge of the Perth metropolitan area and its transportation infrastructure.
  • Understanding of OH&S requirements and transport industry regulations.
  • Familiarity with Safety, Quality Systems, and procedures.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, with ability to work independently.
  • Strong computer literacy and proficiency in relevant software systems.
