Lead Fleet Manager

This is a critical role that requires strong leadership and technical skills to ensure the safe, efficient, and smooth operation of our mining fleet.

The primary objective of this position is to oversee the real-time performance of our mining equipment and make timely decisions to address any issues that may arise.

  1. Key Responsibilities:
  2. Monitor and control fleet operations in real-time to ensure safety, efficiency, and productivity. Address issues promptly and escalate when necessary.
  3. Implement and adhere to new processes, workflows, and standards that align with our company's goals for operational excellence and innovation.
  4. Identify opportunities to enhance control room efficiency and improve communication between teams.
  5. Maintain clear coordination with operational and support teams to ensure alignment with site objectives and seamless issue resolution.
  6. Participate in testing and commissioning of new technologies and systems, providing valuable feedback to support system improvements.
Requirements
  • Demonstrated experience in mine control or similar operational roles within the mining industry.
  • Proficiency with fleet management systems such as Minestar, Fortex, or equivalent platforms.
  • Experience supporting transitions or implementations of new technologies or systems in an operational environment.
  • Familiarity with principles and practices related to autonomous mining operations is highly desirable.
