Accounts Receivable Specialist Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to assume key responsibilities in managing accounts receivable collections, reconciliation, and reporting.

  • Record and reconcile all accounts receivable and collection transactions for timely monthly and yearly closing
  • Follow up on payments, resolve disputes, and provide clarifications to debtors for efficient collections
  • Collaborate with customers to ensure accurate and timely recovery of payments through close monitoring and reconciliation of balances
  • Support customer rebate calculations and accurately process approved amounts to customer ledgers
  • Prepare debtors aging reports and reconcile receipts against invoices/aging
  • Respond to queries and clarifications from internal stakeholders on debtors' outstanding balances and collections

The ideal candidate will have a Diploma or professional qualification in Accounting/Finance or a related discipline and at least five years of hands-on experience in a similar role.

A successful Accounts Receivable Specialist will possess strong attention to detail, analytical, and reconciliation skills. They will also be proficient in office productivity tools (e.g., Excel, Word, and PowerPoint) and exhibit exceptional verbal and written communication skills.

Key Skills and Qualifications:
  • Diploma or professional qualification in Accounting/Finance or a related discipline
  • Minimum of five years of hands-on experience in a similar role
  • Strong attention to detail, analytical, and reconciliation skills
