Job Title: Ocean Dynamics SpecialistA career-defining opportunity awaits for an experienced Hydrodynamic/Wave Modeller to join a dynamic team of experts in ocean and coastal science.   1. About the Role:
  2. Develop and execute hydrodynamic and/or wave modelling studies in estuarine, coastal, and offshore environments to address various issues.
  3. Analyse data sets to provide critical insights and advice, supporting coastal engineering projects and offshore wind developments.
  4. Collaborate with colleagues to maintain and improve tools for processing and analysing software inputs and outputs.
  5. Assist with project management and delivery of technical reports for clients, ensuring timely completion within budgetary constraints.
  6. Liaise with stakeholders to achieve efficient project delivery, while adhering to RPS HSEQ processes and systems.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant physical science discipline (e.g., engineering, oceanography).
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in consulting or research environments, preferably with expertise in ocean dynamics, wave theory, and coastal processes.
  • Demonstrated ability to process and analyse large datasets using programming languages like MATLAB, Python, Java, and ArcGIS.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong ability to convey complex ideas to diverse audiences.
  • Familiarity with project management methodologies and ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
