We're seeking a skilled Senior Hydrodynamic and Coastal Specialist to join our team.

Job Description

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing innovative solutions to marine and aquatic ecological issues. This will involve interacting with engineers and approvals specialists to develop creative solutions, analysing met-ocean/oceanographic and water quality data, undertaking three-dimensional hydrodynamic modelling and two-dimensional spectral wave modelling, and supporting our Maritime and Coastal teams in delivering coastal numerical modelling assessments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement hydrodynamic models to predict ocean currents and waves
  • Analyse data to identify trends and patterns
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time and within budget
  • Provide expert advice to clients on environmental matters
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's degree qualifications in Environmental Engineering or related field
  • Experience with numerical modelling software (MIKE software suite preferred)
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
