Job Title: Financial Accounting Specialist

A key role for a financial accounting specialist is available in Sydney.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience navigating complex financial processes and adapting quickly to evolving priorities.

  • Oversee end-to-end accounts payable processes by ensuring accurate invoice processing, timely approvals, payments, and effective three-way matching between purchase orders, goods receipts, and invoices.
  • Monitor vendor accounts and manage aging reports to guarantee prompt payments while resolving any disputes or discrepancies that may arise.
  • Ensure full compliance with GST regulations, withholding tax requirements, and internal financial controls through diligent oversight of all AP activities.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or related field demonstrating solid academic grounding in core financial principles.
  • CPA or CA qualification (or progress towards certification) reflecting your commitment to professional standards within the industry.
  • 5 years' experience in finance or accounting roles within multinational corporations or shared services environments showcasing your familiarity with complex organisational structures.
  • Proven background in renewable energy or infrastructure sectors is highly regarded as it demonstrates understanding of industry-specific challenges.
