Job Description:

A temporary payroll position with a leading Tasmanian energy provider. This contract role offers an hourly rate of $48 plus super, providing an opportunity to collaborate with a respected Tasmanian organisation.

As a key member of the Payroll team, you will be responsible for completing all aspects of payroll, including using SAP for timesheet recordings and corrections relating to rejections. Your attention to detail and analytical skills will be essential in assessing related error logs.

Requirements:
  • Demonstrated experience as a Payroll Officer or similar
  • Knowledge of payroll, personnel, PAYG taxation, and labour-costing issues
  • High level of attention to detail
  • Good understanding of financial and accounting concepts and procedures
  • Strong skills and knowledge of SAP
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to manipulate data within Excel
