In-House Legal Expert

This is a pivotal opportunity for an experienced legal professional to join our organization as a Legal Counsel. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing expert legal advice to internal stakeholders, drafting and reviewing commercial agreements, and collaborating with business units to drive strategic growth.
- Draft, review, and negotiate complex commercial contracts, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
- Develop and maintain legal policies and risk frameworks, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
- Provide guidance on regulatory compliance, including consumer law, data protection, and corporate governance.
- Manage external counsel and technology tools to optimize support and reduce costs.
- Support dispute resolution and regulatory communications when needed.
Requirements:
- 3-5 years of post-qualification experience, preferably in-house or within a corporate practice.
- Strong commercial contract expertise, with the ability to balance legal risk and business outcomes.
- Familiarity with consumer law, privacy/data protection, and corporate governance principles.
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach to problem-solving.
- Previous experience in eCommerce, retail, or technology-driven environments is advantageous.
