Job Title: Senior Legal Expert
As a Senior Legal Expert, you will play a vital role in making our vision of safe and affordable housing a reality. You will provide expert legal and strategic advice on complex property, construction, and finance matters to support the development and delivery of social and affordable housing across Australia.Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide high-quality legal and strategic advice on property, construction, development, and finance matters.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate complex legal documentation, including development agreements, construction contracts, financing arrangements, conveyancing, and leasing documents.
  • Support the delivery of social and affordable housing projects by managing legal risks, compliance obligations, and governance requirements.
  • Engage and oversee external legal advisors, including preparation of scopes of work and terms of engagement.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor of Laws (LLB) with current Australian practising certificate and a minimum of five years' post-admission experience.
  • Extensive experience in property, construction, development, and finance law, including managing complex and large-scale transactions.
  • Advanced drafting, negotiation, and advisory skills, with the ability to present complex legal issues in clear, practical language.
