Job Overview

We are seeking an exceptional General Manager to join our esteemed client, a distinguished local law firm, in Newcastle CBD.

This is a permanent, full-time position offering the convenience of free parking and an easy commute. As General Manager, you will play a critical role in both strategic decision-making and day-to-day operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Human Resources Management: Oversee recruitment, staff attraction, mentoring, performance, and team management to maintain a warm, inviting, and supportive culture.
  • Financial Management: Take responsibility for monthly financial reporting, budget setting, compliance monitoring, and ensuring fiscal responsibility and transparency.
  • Strategic Leadership: Contribute to the firm's strategic planning and execution, driving growth and operational excellence.
  • Operations Oversight: Manage various administrative and operational tasks essential to the smooth functioning of the firm.
  • Marketing Oversight: Oversee the implementation of marketing initiatives by working with in-house staff and external consultants to achieve goals.
