Job Description


The Executive Director of Operations will play a critical role in both strategic decision-making and the day-to-day operations of the firm. This role is well-suited to an individual with significant experience in general management within a legal environment.



Key Responsibilities:



  • Human Resources Management: Oversee recruitment, staff attraction, mentoring, performance, and team management to maintain and enhance the firm's warm, inviting, and supportive culture.
  • Financial Management: Take responsibility for monthly financial reporting, budget setting, compliance monitoring, and ensuring fiscal responsibility and transparency.
  • Strategic Leadership: Contribute to the firm's strategic planning and execution, driving growth and operational excellence.
  • Operations Oversight: Manage a variety of administrative and operational tasks essential to the smooth functioning of the firm.
  • Marketing Oversight: Oversee the implementation of the firm's marketing initiatives by working with in-house staff and external marketing consultants to achieve the firm's goals.


Ideal Candidate Profile:


This role involves both people management and accounting support, so strong skills in both areas are essential. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience in a similar role within a law firm, exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, and be proactive and forward-thinking.
