This is an exciting opportunity to lead business development and drive revenue growth by securing new clients and expanding into new markets.
- Lead and mentor a team of business development professionals and develop strategic plans to achieve sales targets.
- Build and execute the company's business and marketing strategies to drive revenue and profit.
- Manage your schedule and pipeline with a high degree of autonomy and make key commercial decisions, including pricing strategies, budgeting, and contract negotiations.
- Mentor and develop a dedicated team of account managers and lead cross-functional projects with R&D, supply chain, and finance.
- Act as the key point of contact for clients, building strong relationships and providing tailored solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
As the Commercial Manager, you will be responsible for driving sales and growth by building strong, long-lasting relationships with clients and delivering customised solutions to meet their needs across both Australian and international markets.
- Develop proposals that address client needs and objectives.
- Share your time between the office and in the field.
- Manage the yearly budget and sales forecasts.
- Review and improve commercial contracts and pricing to optimise financial outcomes.
- Define and prepare the company's marketing strategy and materials.
- Mentor and develop your direct reports.
- Identify and support continuous improvements in commercial processes.
- Attend industry events and functions to build market awareness.
