Job Title: Network Technology Director

Marlin Human Capital is seeking an experienced Network Technology Director to lead a team and deliver key initiatives for a large enterprise.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the entire lifecycle of the network platform and associated services, including WAN/LAN/WiFi and BAU from a service delivery, strategic, and project perspective.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Define and execute the platform service vision and strategy, shaping product and service decisions.
  • Ensure service design meets regulatory obligations and internal policies.
  • Plan and design tests to validate services against specifications.
  • Lead the creation of an outcome-oriented service roadmap through the utilisation of customer insights.
  • Consult with stakeholders to identify and implement enhancement initiatives that meet customer needs and maximise ROI.
  • Foster a service management culture within the team, lead all service design activities, and proactively manage risks associated with the service.
  • Implement a continuous improvement mindset within the team and regularly obtain feedback and recommendations from the business.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships across the business and design engagement models that ensure efficient and effective service delivery and customer experience.
Requirements:
  • Tertiary qualifications in a relevant area of study.
  • Proven management and leadership experience, within one or more large, complex environments.
  • Demonstrable stakeholder management framework experience is essential, as well as possessing effective interpersonal and presentation skills.
  • Technical expertise with Cisco products is essential.
  • Exposure to Palo Alto or Fortinet highly regarded too.
  • Proven project delivery experience and leadership experience within a transformational context highly regarded.
  • Vendor management skills and experience are essential, including the creation of appropriate frameworks.
