Elective Surgery Customer Service Representative

The Elective Services Phone Room Clerk plays a vital role in managing all phone calls to the designated phone room, ensuring accurate and timely data entry.
This position involves being the first point of contact within the ESS department, responsible for answering and transferring calls, as well as updating patient contact information.
We are seeking a friendly, courteous, and professional individual who can provide exceptional customer service and support to consumers.
About YouThe ideal candidate will possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Key responsibilities include:
- Ensuring accurate and timely data entry of all information
- Providing administrative support to Managers, Team Leaders, and Liaison Nurses across the department
- Maintaining currency of Preadmission and Elective Surgery terminology
- Being accountable for performance with regard to data accuracy and integrity
- Clear Police Check conducted within the last three months
- Current Victorian Employee Working with Children's Check (or proof of payment for same)
- Proof of immunisation
