Job Summary

This role is a key position within the health system, providing expert clinical interpretation and analysis of data to inform decision-making and drive efficiency across perioperative services.

The successful applicant will have a strong background in clinical leadership, with experience in managing complex healthcare needs. They will be responsible for partnering with clinical leaders and managers to ensure accurate and timely data capture from multiple information systems.

A significant aspect of this role is the ability to translate data insights into practical strategies that enhance service delivery, improve patient outcomes, and contribute to ongoing care improvements for Tasmanians.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with clinical leaders and managers to ensure accurate and timely data capture from multiple information systems.
  • Provide expert clinical interpretation and analysis of data to prepare reports, dashboards, and improvement plans that inform decision-making and drive efficiency across perioperative services.
  • Lead the translation of data insights into practical strategies that enhance service delivery, improve patient outcomes, and contribute to ongoing care improvements for Tasmanians.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Registered Nurse: Registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia as a Registered Nurse.
  • Clinical Leadership: Demonstrated experience in clinical leadership, professional judgement, and initiative, with minimal supervision required.
  • Service Improvement: Ability to contribute to the evaluation, innovation, and development of services, as well as review of clinical practice policy, procedures, and protocols.
