Hours per fortnight

Up to 73.5 hours - flexible options available.

DutiesDeliver data and information, including analysis, interpretation, and presentation material (reporting services), for -

• Agency performance reporting (internal and external).
• National reporting such as Report on Government Services (ROGS)
• Development of scheduled reporting/reports for Agency business units
• Corporate related requests for data/information.
• Ad-hoc data requests, including data analysis, modelling, extracts and graphical presentation.

Lead an or assist in the delivery and management of data sharing activities between the Agency, government and non-government stakeholders as per agreements.Lead and or assist in design, development/enhancement, implementation and maintenance activities related to information management systems and support tools, including:

• Development of business requirements, functional and/or technical specifications, business processes and system workflows.
• Data fixes, data quality enhancements and new information product development.
• Information Systems integration, communications and data migration.
• Information management governance and support contractual arrangements.
• Information management systems testing, training and ongoing support activities.
• Monitor ongoing compliance with Agency cyber security protocols and report breaches as required.

Assist in the provision of an information management and support service for Agency information systems and their environments.Develop and maintain information management related documentation, including online content.

The incumbent can expect to be allocated duties, not specifically mentioned in this document, that are within the capacity, qualifications and experience normally expected from persons occupying positions at this classification level.

Essential Requirements

The Head of the State Service has determined that the person nominated for this job is to satisfy a pre employment check before taking up the appointment, on promotion or transfer. The following checks are to be conducted:

• Current Tasmanian Working with Vulnerable People Registration with NDIS endorsement.

• Conviction checks in the following areas:

a) crimes of violence

b) sex related offences

c) serious drug offences

d) crimes involving dishonesty

e) serious traffic offences (if Driver's Licence is an essential requirement)

• Identification check

• Disciplinary action in previous employment check.

Registration/licences that are essential requirements of this role must remain current and valid at all times whilst employed in this role and the status of these may be checked at any time during employment. It is the employee's responsibility to ensure that registration/licences remain current and to advise the Employer if their circumstances change. This includes notifying the Employer of any new criminal convictions and/or if a registration/licence is revoked, cancelled or has its conditions altered.
