Family Support Specialist

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Family Support Specialist to join our team.

This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of families in need. As a Family Support Specialist, you will work closely with clients to understand their needs and develop strategies for improvement.

The ideal candidate will have experience working with vulnerable populations, be able to maintain confidentiality, and possess a strong understanding of the issues facing families in North Queensland.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing support to families in need through individual and group sessions.
  • Developing and implementing personalized plans to address client needs.
  • Working collaboratively with other professionals to ensure comprehensive support services.
  • Maintaining accurate records and reporting on client progress.

Requirements:

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in social work or a related field.
  • Experience working with vulnerable populations, including children and families.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
