Spinifex State College is looking for a compassionate and motivated Youth Support Coordinator to join our team.

This position is being offered in a Temporary Part-Time capacity (0.83 FTE), 30 hours per fortnight.

Spinifex State College is a vibrant multi-campus secondary school located in Mount Isa, Queensland.
Serving students from Years 7 to 12, the college offers a diverse and inclusive learning environment with a strong focus on academic achievement, vocational education, and student wellbeing.
With strong ties to the local community and industry, Spinifex provides real-world learning opportunities that prepare students for life beyond school.
Responsibilities
Identify barriers to young people achieving outcomes and refer to appropriate support services.
Maintain records of student contact on a daily basis.
Support students to achieve satisfactory learning outcomes.
Develop and monitor post-program support as required to meet program performance criteria.
Develop and foster relationships between the school and families of students to assist at-risk students to remain engaged with education or training.
