About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled HSSE Advisor to join our team in Brisbane. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in ensuring the health, safety, and environmental sustainability of our renewable energy projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct regular site inspections and audits to ensure compliance with our management system and regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and maintain HSSE management systems, including policies, manuals, procedures, and method statements.
  • Prepare HSSE reports, including regulatory, internal, and environmental impact assessments.
  • Build and manage relationships with security companies, strategic partners, local communities, and governmental agencies.
  • Organize personal protection details for key personnel and develop crisis management strategies.
  • Develop business continuity plans and environmental risk evaluation and mitigation strategies.
  • Implement compliance and ethics programs for internal stakeholders.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need at least 3 years of experience in occupational or workplace health and safety, preferably in the energy generation, infrastructure, or construction industries. You will also need a comprehensive understanding of WHS legislation and standards, as well as environmental knowledge within the construction industry.
