We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Support Worker to join our team at Uniting, providing care and companionship to older adults in their own homes in the Wollongong area.
Key Responsibilities- Provide personal care and support to clients, including assistance with daily living activities, personal hygiene, and medication administration.
- Assist with household tasks, such as housekeeping, grocery shopping, and meal preparation.
- Transport clients to appointments and social events, using your own car.
- Engage in social and wellbeing activities with clients, such as accompanying them on outings or assisting with Healthy Living for Seniors activities.
- Certificate III in Aged Care or equivalent qualification.
- Experience providing client-centred care, preferably in a home care setting.
- Current First Aid certificate.
- Driver's licence and access to a comprehensively insured vehicle.
- Hands-on training, development, and mentoring in a leading provider.
