The Prostate Cancer Research role is a key position within the Impact portfolio, driving initiatives to enhance men's health awareness.

**Job Overview**

This newly created permanent full-time position oversees prostate cancer initiatives and fosters collaborations to address key issues like cancer, health literacy, gender-inclusive care, and mental well-being.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Lead the Prostate Cancer Research initiatives within a cross-functional team.
  • Develop and execute implementation plans.
  • Oversee clinical partnerships, data platforms, and evaluation strategies.
  • Provide guidance for Preventing Disease Progression and Personalised Active Surveillance initiatives.
  • Manage the Integrated analytical database development.
  • Supervise Global Action Plan projects and partnership grants.
  • Collaborate with Implementation Directors and Advocacy teams to enhance access to PSMA testing and treatment.

**Requirements:**

  • Post-graduate degree in a biomedical or related discipline.
  • 10+ years experience in programme design, development and implementation.
  • 10+ years experience in leading and executing cancer research initiatives.
  • Demonstrated experience and proven track record in directing and leading multiinstitutional research collaborations, ideally trans-national projects.
  • Strong background and understanding of prostate cancer - ideally in clinical and research environments.
