Chef Leadership Role

We are seeking an experienced Chef Manager to lead our team and deliver premium meal services.
The successful candidate will be responsible for supervision, menu planning, catering, infrastructure management, ordering, quality service delivery, and continuous improvement. This role offers opportunities to build a career in a supportive and collaborative environment.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience in aged care, a passion for providing high-quality nutritious meals, and leadership skills to motivate the team.
Key Responsibilities- Manage food safety, WHS, and quality compliance
- Lead and motivate the team; participate in recruitment and training of team members
- Stock control and ordering
- Resident dietary management
- Kitchen and food cost management
- Production and delivery of high-quality meals
- Service excellence around all aspects of the dining experience
- Communicate with residents and families and document their needs
- Previous experience in aged care preferred
- Chef qualifications and experience; understanding of special dietary needs
- Leadership and team management skills
- Fundamental knowledge of food safety legislation
- Flexibility to balance work and life
