At Aged Care Homes, we are committed to providing a high-quality lifestyle experience for our residents. We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated individual to join our team as a Lifestyle Coordinator.

About the Role

This is a full-time position that requires a passion for delivering meaningful activities and events that enhance the physical, intellectual, emotional, cultural, and social well-being of our residents. As a Lifestyle Coordinator, you will be responsible for designing and implementing a calendar of engaging activities, supporting and coordinating staff and volunteers, and facilitating community engagement opportunities.

The Regis Chelmer Lifestyle program focuses on individual needs, preferences, and goal setting to support and empower our residents to maximize their independence and well-being. You will work closely with our residents to develop personalized lifestyle programs that cater to their unique needs and interests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop lifestyle programs based on individual needs, preferences, and goals to enhance Physical, Intellectual, Emotional, Cultural, and Social well-being
  • Active participation in the delivery of activities and events
  • Prepare comprehensive and accurate Lifestyle Assessments of residents and ensure timely documentation of resident participation and engagement
  • Manage and coach the lifestyle team to deliver engaging and meaningful lifestyle activities
  • Support the orientation and training of new team members and volunteers, and develop positive relationships with residents, families, and volunteers
  • Facilitate community engagement opportunities and promote social connections among residents
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Demonstrated understanding of Leisure and Lifestyle programming and Aged Care Quality Standards
  • Certificate IV in Leisure and Health
  • Previous experience in a Lifestyle Assistant/Coordinator position or similar role
  • Previous experience in Dementia care
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with residents, families, and staff
  • Strong computer literacy skills, including experience with care management systems (desirable)
