Security Leadership Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Security Site Supervisor to lead a team of security officers on a prestigious university campus in Melbourne's north-east.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise daily operations of security across the university campus.
  • Provide on-site leadership, guidance, and support to security officers during shifts.
  • Assist with administrative and operational tasks as required.
  • Oversee control room activities, ensuring effective monitoring of CCTV, access control, alarms, and campus communications.
  • Respond promptly and professionally to incidents, emergencies, and requests for assistance.
  • Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and security protocols.
  • Liaise with university staff, emergency services, and stakeholders as needed.
  • Maintain accurate records of incidents, patrols, and shift activities.
  • Support training and performance of new and existing security staff.

Requirements:

  • Prior supervisory experience within the security industry.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills.
  • Solid knowledge of control room operations and emergency response.
  • Valid Victorian working rights.
  • Valid Victorian Security licence with the control room subcategory.
  • Certificate II in Security Operations (or higher).
  • Valid Victorian Drivers licence with no restrictions.
  • Working with children check (or willing to obtain).
  • First Aid and CPR certificates (or willing to obtain).
