The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Revenue Management Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing revenue processes and practices. Your primary focus will be to ensure that revenue from all facets of the business is accurately claimed and invoiced, in accordance with relevant contracts and price guides.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of NDIS price guides and other contracts related to revenue.
  • Develop and implement effective revenue forecasting and reporting tools to communicate revenue performance and compliance against price guides and contracts.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to resolve billing errors and ensure timely resolution of customer inquiries.
  • Design and develop reporting tools to validate data and identify gaps in revenue management.
  • Work closely with the finance team to ensure accurate and timely invoicing and payment processing.
  • Monitor and report on debtors ageing, DSO, and difficult debtors, escalating aged debtors in a timely manner and in accordance with policy.
  • Provide recommendations for provisioning of debt and debt write-off.
  • Prepare cashflow projections of cash receipts.
Requirements
  • Bachelor Degree in Accounting or a related field.
  • Demonstrated experience in revenue management, process mapping, and review.
  • Advanced knowledge of the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) and its pricing structures.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate complex issues to a wide audience.
  • Proven experience in managing a team to achieve desired outcomes.
  • 3+ years of relevant experience in the disability sector.
