
Experienced PE Teacher Wanted

Craigieburn South Primary School is seeking a passionate and dedicated Physical Education teacher to join our dynamic teaching team.
The successful applicant will be responsible for planning, implementing, and assessing a high-quality physical education program for students in Foundation to Year 6, aligned with the Victorian Curriculum 2.0.
This role involves coordinating school-wide and community events that foster student wellbeing, physical activity, and school connectedness.
The Physical Education program plays a vital role in promoting healthy lifestyles, teamwork, resilience, and a sense of belonging in our students.
Key Responsibilities- Plan and deliver engaging physical education lessons that cater to a diverse range of student abilities and needs.
- Assess and report on student learning using a variety of formative and summative assessment strategies.
- Promote and coordinate student participation in physical activity and sporting events, including interschool sport, athletics, and cross country.
- Build and maintain professional networks with local schools to support the coordination of interschool sports events and collaborative sporting initiatives.
Requirements
- A Bachelor of Education or related field.
- Provisional or full registration from the Victorian Institute of Teaching.
- Demonstrated experience in teaching and/or have demonstrated experience in the curriculum area specified for the position.
