Key Responsibilities:
  • Customer Engagement: Create unique experiences for customers by sharing your expertise on enhancing their home.
  • Sales Growth: Drive sales through strategic merchandising and leading weekly promotional and visual changes.
  • Store Excellence: Ensure the store meets visual, replenishment, cleanliness, safety, and back-of-house standards.
  • Team Support: Provide operational support to the store management team by performing opening and closing routines, register functions, and back-office procedures.
  • Leadership: Meet personal targets and supervise and coach the team to deliver world-class service and achieve team goals.
  • Product Knowledge: Utilize training resources to educate the team on our product range and develop their sales skills.
  • Culture: Create and ensure a positive environment where all associates are treated fairly and with dignity, in accordance with our People-First Philosophy.
Requirements:
  • Experience: Retail sales experience, ideally in visual merchandising, specialty retail, and/or homewares.
  • Customer Service: Customer service experience.
  • Leadership: Experience in managing others or looking to step into a leadership role.
  • Passion: Passion for homewares and design.
  • Sales Drive: Love to sell and driven to meet and exceed targets.
  • Team Player: Succeed in a team environment but can work independently and manage your own time.
  • Entrepreneurial Spirit: Thrive in an entrepreneurial environment and constantly look for ways to upsell and cross-sell.
  • Customer Connection: Enjoy engaging with customers, discovering their story, style, and lifestyle to connect them to the right products.
  • Results-Oriented: Have the ability to convert customers and capture emails through engaging store and community events.
  • Effective Communication: Effective communication, organization, and leadership skills.
  • Coaching: Ability to coach team members to succeed in meeting targets.
