Job Title: Solutions Specialist

Adelaide office based, with the added benefit of enjoying good air conditioning during summer months.

As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in designing new projects and continuing to learn and grow from those around you.

We are seeking an experienced Solutions Specialist to join Australia's largest Motorola dealer. In this challenging and rewarding role, you will utilize your technical expertise to support our sales team and clients in creating innovative solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Liaise with the sales team to understand customer requirements and provide proactive solutions that meet their needs.
  • Develop and maintain a detailed technical knowledge of our products and services to effectively support the sales team.
  • Create bill of materials, cost pricing, and proposed scope of works to support quoted solutions.
  • Assist customers and the sales team with technical questions during the sales process.
  • Support tender documentation and provide pre/post-system documentation.
  • Coordinate resources during the quoting process to ensure timely completion.
  • Attend customer appointments and liaise with customers as the technical resource for the company.
  • For work won, create detailed work packages and provide adequate handover for documents and materials.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in a senior technical role, preferably in electronics engineering or a related field.
  • Knowledge of radio communications equipment, including P25, TETRA, and DMR radio equipment, is highly desirable.
  • Wireless, IP networking, and microwave experience is also highly desirable.
  • Certificate III or higher in electronics engineering or a related field is required.
