About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Building Surveyor to join our team. As a Building Surveyor, you will be responsible for assessing, approving, and finalizing building applications in line with applicable regulations, codes, and standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough assessments of building applications to ensure compliance with relevant regulations and codes.
  • Provide expert advice to clients on building code and legislative matters.
  • Develop quotations based on client requests and conduct construction inspections as required.
  • Attend project meetings, take necessary actions, and review certificates for compliance.
  • Assist with training junior staff and contribute to the growth and development of the team.

Requirements

  • A registered Building Surveyor (Level 1 or Level 2) with experience in commercial projects.
  • Strong knowledge of the National Construction Code (NCC), relevant state legislation, and the certification process.
  • Excellent communication and report-writing skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Valid driving license and access to a vehicle.
