RPS is seeking an experienced Consultant to join our Advisory Services – Commercial and Delivery team in Victoria.
We are looking for a high-performing individual to provide cost advisory services for our government and private clients.
Key Responsibilities- Representing RPS, provide strategic and specialist advice and support to clients delivering major public and private sector infrastructure projects and programs.
- Support public and private sector clients with all elements of cost estimation and associated advice to implement major infrastructure project works and services.
- Interact directly with clients to support the delivery of high-quality services and deliverables.
- Provide analytical and practical project delivery support on delegated elements of client engagements.
We are looking for a candidate with a high level of conscientiousness, a collaborative team-player, and familiarity with delivering cost advisory services in Australia.
Ideally, you will have:
- A tertiary qualification in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Law, Engineering, or other relevant field.
- 1+ years of proven experience delivering cost advisory services.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Good judgment and decision-making abilities.
- Problem-solving and troubleshooting capabilities.
- Aptitude for critical thinking, logic, and reasoning as it relates to cost advisory work.
- Good interpersonal skills, confidence, and professionalism.
- Financial and commercial aptitude, and the ability to prepare accurate cost plans.
- An opportunity mindset, that contributes to identifying new projects and supports team leaders to build relationships and opportunities for future projects.
- Good computer literacy including Microsoft Office, and preferably CostX.
- The ability to collaborate as part of a high-performing team.
- Good attention to detail, supporting the accuracy of work.
- A strong work ethic, good organisational skills, and the ability to meet strict deadlines within a fast-paced working environment.
