Senior Accountant Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Senior Accountant to join our team in South Melbourne. As a key member of our accounting services team, you will be responsible for providing expert accounting support, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, and delivering exceptional client service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Client Support: Provide comprehensive accounting, taxation, and advisory services to a portfolio of clients.
  • Financial Analysis: Conduct financial analysis, tax planning, and business consulting to identify opportunities for optimisation and growth.
  • Compliance: Prepare financial statements, tax returns, and other compliance documents, ensuring accuracy and adherence to regulations.
  • Client Advisory: Support senior accountants in serving as trusted advisors to clients, understanding their unique financial goals and challenges, and tailoring strategies to meet their needs.
  • Regulatory Updates: Stay informed on changes in tax laws, regulations, and industry trends to provide accurate and up-to-date advice to clients.
  • Business Development: Assist in business development efforts by expanding services within existing client relationships and supporting new client acquisition.
  • Relationship Building: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, senior accountants, and other stakeholders to foster long-term partnerships and drive client satisfaction.
  • Professional Development: Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance your professional skills and knowledge.
Requirements:
  • Experience in accounting, taxation, and advisory services.
  • Knowledge of Australian taxation laws, regulations, and accounting standards.
  • Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities.
