Job Description

The Credit Acquisition & Policy Manager is responsible for designing and implementing credit acquisition strategy and policy framework across the credit lifecycle. The role builds and enables acquisition strategy for new and existing markets, developing and maintaining credit policies that align with the company's risk appetite and strategic objectives.

This includes ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and driving sustainable growth while strengthening Member relationships and protecting margins and profits. The successful candidate will also minimize exposure to bad debt and maintain an acceptable level of risk.

Estimated Salary Range

$120,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Excellent people management skills with a proven track record of effective leadership.
  • Demonstrate flexibility and ability to effectively deliver and manage change.
  • Proven experience in effective credit risk management and lending policies, regulations, and procedures.
  • Experience in various analytics tools such as SAS.
  • Comprehensive understanding of the end-to-end lending process and experience in reading and interpreting financial reports and related searches.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of financial analysis, collateral valuation, appraisal procedures, and documentation.
  • Well-developed negotiations skills and ability to analyse data.
  • A keen desire and ability to review and implement process improvements and establish a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Strong communication skills including the ability to establish and manage positive relationships with staff, colleagues, key stakeholders, and Members.
