About this role:
We are seeking a Medical Leader to join our team and provide high-quality psychiatric care to patients. This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to deliver excellent patient outcomes.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Providing medical leadership to the program, ensuring high-quality clinical practices
- Working closely with the Deputy Program Director to achieve program objectives
- Developing and implementing strategic, quality, and business plans for the program
- Providing professional leadership to all staff, including junior medical staff and consultant psychiatrists
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Fellowship of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists or equivalent qualification
- Specialist registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
- Well-developed leadership skills and experience in leading a team within a Recovery Oriented Mental Health Services framework
