About the Role

This part-time position involves providing consistent, trauma-informed and strengths-based support to clients with significant behavioural, physical and health-related needs.

  • Provide high-level personal care: showering, continence care, dressing, mobility
  • Support clients displaying physical aggression and behaviours of concern
  • Administer medication and manage complex healthcare routines
  • Support clients with dual diagnoses (physical disability + mental health)
  • Implement restrictive practice strategies in line with behaviour support plans
  • Assist with domestic duties: cleaning, meal prep, laundry

About You

  • Experience supporting clients with severe behavioural and health complexities
  • Skilled in de-escalation and safe response to physical aggression
  • Knowledge of restrictive practices and positive behaviour support
  • Calm, confident and adaptable in unpredictable situations

Requirements

  • Female applicants only
  • Cert III/IV in Disability, Individual Support or related (highly regarded)
  • Proven experience with high-complexity support environments
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check, First Aid & CPR, Australian Driver's Licence & reliable vehicle
